Understanding Areas about Bay Area Web Design

Selecting an appropriate web design that suits your needs can be a very time-consuming task. For some of you, I hope to lighten the load and provide you with an insight into which design layouts work best for certain types of business and personal websites. I will take you through the elements of a design layout that is basic and common. Some people make the common mistake of jumping straight into and choosing colours and fonts, but now I’m not saying that this is a bad thing to do, but this should be seen as a lower priority than other elements of design.Have a look at Bay Area Web Design for more info on this.

The main reason for this is that it would be a much simpler task if you needed to change the design colours and fonts at a later stage than changing the structural layout all together. So, it is a better idea to concentrate on the design’s overall layout first. The best thing to begin with is to select the main regions that will be used in the design. To do this, imagine coloured sections or blocks (squares and rectangles) that do not have any content or images within your design. Start from the header and move down to your website’s footer. In order to give you a better view of how everything will look at the end, it can be useful to draw down these sections on paper. Let’s start with the header, so you’re going to have to decide whether or not you’re going to have a top navigation. If you decide to have one, it is recommended to place it on the upper right-hand side. Next would be to select an area for a static header image or slideshow and finally where your company logo should be placed (the top left of your design is recommended as this is the first thing people will see when visiting your website). You can also add a second top navigation under the header image if you have a large amount of content to upload. Make sure that your design is not cluttered, as this will discourage users and potential customers.
